VPS Apex 6DOF: a complete turnkey racing simulator from Velocity Pro Sims
Stage 3 of the VPS motion ladder: Vero Motion Legend 6DOF — actuators, surge and traction loss — under a Sim-Lab P1X Pro with MOZA's 25 Nm R25 Ultra and active brake pedal.
The VPS Apex 6DOF is a full six-degree-of-freedom motion simulator. Vero Motion's Legend system pairs four Champion actuators with a surge actuator and two traction-loss actuators on an aluminum motion base, so you get pitch, roll and heave plus forward surge, lateral sway and the rear of the car stepping out under you. It is built on the Sim-Lab P1X Pro with a MOZA R25 Ultra 25 Nm direct drive, the GS V2P GT wheel and FSR2 formula wheel, MOZA's mBooster active force-feedback brake with CRP2 throttle and clutch, HGP shifter, HBP handbrake and CM2 dash. Three 32" screens on a freestanding Vario stand and our Podium PC with an RTX 5080 complete it.
Why racers choose the VPS Apex 6DOF
- Traction loss is the cue that makes drivers faster. Feeling yaw as the rear breaks away — before you see it — is what a 6DOF platform adds over actuators alone.
- An active brake pedal. The mBooster pushes back against your foot to reproduce ABS and lock-ups, matched to the motion cues.
- MOZA's flagship 25 Nm base and two wheels. GT and formula rims with displays, on the strongest Ultra-series motor.
- Screens that stay still. The freestanding Vario triple stand keeps the picture stable while the platform moves — the right way to do triples on motion.
What's in the package

Build & Delivery: four ways to take delivery of your VPS Apex 6DOF
Every price is in the Build & Delivery selector above, so you can check out with the level of service you want. Whichever you choose, the hardware is identical and the 45 days of full support are included.
Ship in Boxes — $25,995
The complete package ships to you in component boxes — larger items such as the cockpit and motion system ship freight — with every bracket, cable and fastener needed to put it together. Freight is quoted separately for your address (see below). Our support team is a call away while you set it up.
Professional Build + Crated Freight + Remote Setup — +$8,495
Our Daytona Beach shop assembles, wires, cable-manages and calibrates your simulator, loads and updates the software and track-tests the rig. We then crate it, ship it to your door with freight included, and schedule a remote session to finish the software setup, calibrate to you and walk you through the system. You place the rig and connect the labeled cables; we do the rest over the screen.
White Glove — Florida & Southeast — +$10,795
For customers within roughly a day's drive of Daytona Beach (Florida, Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas), two VPS technicians bring your professionally built simulator in our own trailer, carry it in, install and calibrate it in your space and hand it over race-ready — 3 days on site including a driver walkthrough. Travel, lodging and meals are included in the price.
White Glove — Nationwide — +$15,295
Anywhere in the continental United States: your built and tested simulator ships crated ahead of us, then two VPS technicians fly out for 3 days to unpack, install, calibrate and commission it in your space and hand it over with a full walkthrough. The price covers the build, crating and freight, airfare, lodging, meals and ground transport for both technicians.
How these prices are set: the build charge reflects the hours our shop puts into this specific package; the white-glove charges are built from two technicians for 3 days, airfare or fuel, hotels, meals, a rental car where we fly, and the crate and freight for a built rig — the same way we cost every install we do. Commercial sites, multi-rig installs and unusual access (stairs, elevators, remote locations) are quoted individually: call or text (954) 296-6197, email sales@velocityprosims.com or request a quote.
Support
Every turnkey package includes 45 days of full support from Velocity Pro Sims from the day of purchase — hardware, software and tuning, with remote access to the racing PC when you want us to look at something. After that, service is available at $120 per hour.
Shipping on the Ship-in-Boxes Choice Is Quoted Separately
If you choose Ship in Boxes, freight is not included in the price and is not calculated at checkout. It depends on your address, access and whether you want curbside or in-home placement, so we quote it separately and invoice it once your order is placed — call or text (954) 296-6197 for an estimate before you order. The Professional Build choice includes crated freight to your door, and both White Glove choices include delivery and installation.
Perfect for
- Drivers stepping up from a static or 3DOF rig who want the full motion experience
- Driver-development and coaching programs
- Showpiece home rigs where every component is matched and motion-ready from day one
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between 3DOF and 6DOF here?
3DOF (the Contender Motion) moves the whole rig in pitch, roll and heave. 6DOF adds a surge actuator (forward/back) and two traction-loss actuators (yaw and sway) on a motion base, so the platform can slide and rotate under you.
How much space and power?
Allow roughly 8 ft x 6 ft plus walk-around room; the system runs on standard 120 V outlets and ships with an E-stop.
Does it arrive assembled?
That is your choice in the Build & Delivery selector. Ship in Boxes arrives as a complete, matched component package with every bracket and cable; Professional Build arrives assembled, calibrated and crated with a remote setup session; the two White Glove choices put two VPS technicians in your space to install and commission the platform.
Can Velocity Pro Sims build or install it for me?
Yes — choose it in the Build & Delivery selector. Professional Build has us assemble, calibrate and test the complete system in Daytona Beach, crate it and ship it to you with a remote setup session; the two White Glove choices send two VPS technicians to install and commission it in your space, by road across Florida and the Southeast or by air anywhere in the lower 48.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Our showroom at 933 Beville Rd, Suite 102E in Daytona Beach — ten minutes from Daytona International Speedway — has walk-in seat time with no appointment and no charge, Wednesday through Sunday.
What does shipping cost?
If you choose Ship in Boxes, freight is quoted separately based on your address and access and is not charged at checkout — call or text (954) 296-6197 for a freight estimate before you order if you want the all-in number up front. The Professional Build choice includes crated freight to your door, and both White Glove choices include delivery.
How long until it ships?
Ship in Boxes: components ship in multiple boxes from our warehouse and suppliers — larger items such as the cockpit ship freight — and the racing PC ships in 7–14 business days. Professional Build and White Glove orders are scheduled with you when we confirm the order; allow extra time for the build and, for White Glove, for our technicians' travel dates.
Note: Ship in Boxes orders ship in multiple boxes with the racing PC following within 7–14 business days; Professional Build and White Glove orders are scheduled with you at confirmation. White Glove prices assume normal residential access in the continental United States; commercial sites and multi-rig installs are quoted individually. Racing software subscriptions (iRacing, etc.) are not included.
