A Rainy Day in Daytona Beach, Solved
Florida weather does what it wants. When the afternoon storm rolls in and the beach is off the table, most of the indoor options in Daytona Beach involve standing in a line and paying for a wristband. This one does not. Come in, sit down in a real racing simulator, and drive Daytona International Speedway — or Le Mans, or Monza — while it rains outside.
These are not arcade machines. They are the same professional rigs we build and sell: direct-drive steering wheels that fight back the way a real car does, load-cell brake pedals you push with your leg rather than your ankle, and proper racing seats bolted into aluminum chassis. Most people are surprised by how physical it is. That surprise is the whole point.
Who Comes In
Race weekend visitors
In town for the Coke Zero Sugar 400, the Rolex 24, Bike Week or Daytona 500. You have watched cars go around this track — now go around it yourself.
Families with kids
Kids who can reach the pedals can drive. There is no minimum spend and no one hovering to sell you anything.
Embry-Riddle students and parents
We are a few minutes from campus. Move-in weekend, family weekend, or a break between classes — come drive.
Orlando day-trippers
Under an hour from the theme parks. A quiet, free, genuinely different stop on the way to or from the coast.
People who are simply curious
You have seen sim racing online and wondered whether it feels like anything. It does. Come find out.
Anyone shopping for one
If you are thinking about a simulator for home, this is the honest way to compare hardware — by feel, not by spec sheet.
What Actually Happens When You Walk In
Someone says hello. We ask whether you have driven a simulator before — there is no wrong answer, and most people have not. We set the seat, the pedals and the wheel to your size, pick a car and a track that will be fun rather than frustrating, and turn the force feedback down or up depending on how it is going.
Then you drive. Take a few laps or take twenty. When you are done, you can ask us anything about the hardware, or you can just say thanks and walk out. Nobody will chase you to the door. We do this because people who feel a proper simulator tend to remember where they felt it.
Honest Expectations
We are a specialist shop, not an entertainment venue. That means a handful of high-end rigs rather than a room full of machines, and it means that on a busy Saturday you may wait a few minutes for a seat. It also means the person setting up your rig actually built it.
We are closed Monday and Tuesday. If you are making a special trip, call ahead at (954) 296-6197 — we will tell you honestly whether it is a good time to come.

Questions Visitors Ask
Is it really free?
Yes. Seat time in our Daytona Beach showroom costs nothing. There is no cover charge, no minimum purchase, and no requirement to be shopping for anything.
Do I need to book ahead?
No. Walk in during open hours — Wednesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday, 10 AM to 2 PM. We are closed Monday and Tuesday. If you are driving a long way, a quick call to (954) 296-6197 is never a bad idea.
Is this a good rainy day activity in Daytona Beach?
It is one of the better ones. The whole thing is indoors and air conditioned, it costs nothing, and it takes as long or as little as you want. When the beach is washed out, this is a genuinely different way to spend an hour.
Can kids drive?
Yes, as long as they can comfortably reach the pedals. We adjust the seat and dial the force feedback down so it stays fun. Younger children are welcome to watch and take a turn with a parent nearby.
How long does a visit take?
Most people spend twenty minutes to an hour. There is no timer running. On a quiet weekday you can stay longer; on a busy Saturday there may be a short wait for a seat.
How far is it from Daytona International Speedway?
About ten minutes by car. We are on Beville Road just east of I-95, close to ONE DAYTONA and the Daytona Beach airport.
Is it worth the drive from Orlando?
Orlando is roughly an hour away. Plenty of visitors combine it with a day at the beach or a Speedway tour. If you are a racing fan, it is an easy addition to the trip — and it costs nothing once you are here.
Do I have to buy anything?
No. We sell simulators and sim racing parts, and we are happy to talk about them if you ask — but the driving is free either way and there is no sales pitch attached to it.
What if I have never played a racing game?
That is most of our visitors. We pick a forgiving car, set the assists sensibly, and stand next to you for the first few corners. Nobody is being timed and nobody is watching.
