The doors are open. Velocity Pro Sims now has a real showroom at 933 Beville Rd, Suite 102E in Daytona Beach, and anyone can walk in.
For years we built racing simulators, shipped them across the country, and supported them by phone. The one thing we could never do was hand somebody a wheel and let them feel the difference for themselves. Now we can. Ten minutes from Daytona International Speedway, there is a room full of running simulators with the lights on and the seats empty, waiting for someone to sit down.
Free seat time. No appointment, no charge.
This is the part people do not believe until they try it. Walk in, and we will put you in a rig and let you drive. There is no fee, no booking, no sales pitch attached to it, and no obligation to buy anything on your way out. If you have never touched a direct-drive wheel or a load-cell brake, twenty minutes in one of these seats explains more than any spec sheet we could hand you.
Bring the kids. Bring somebody who says they are not into racing. It works on them too.
Open all Coke Zero Sugar 400 weekend
Race weekend in Daytona is our favorite week of the year, and we will be open the whole way through it. If you are in town for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 on August 29 and you want to run the same banking you just watched, we are a short drive from the track and the seat time is still free.
What is on the floor
The showroom is not a display case. Every rig in the room is a working machine you are welcome to drive, from entry-level cockpits through full-motion builds.
That includes our turnkey packages, built and calibrated as complete machines, and the VPS Hybrid Simulator System, which runs racing and flight hardware on one chassis with real 3DOF motion under both.
Everything we sell, we build here
The shop and the showroom are the same building. Cockpits get assembled, wired, cable-managed and calibrated a few feet from where customers are driving, and that is on purpose. When you ask us how a rig holds up under a 21 Nm wheelbase, the answer comes from the people who bolted it together.
It also means we can build to order. Bring us a budget, a room measurement, and a list of the games you actually play, and we will spec something that fits all three instead of selling you the box we have the most of.
Parts you can hold before you buy
The wall is stocked with the hardware people usually have to buy blind: wheel bases, rims, pedal sets, shifters, handbrakes, seats, monitor stands, and simulator PCs we build in house. We carry Fanatec, Simagic, MOZA and Sim-Lab, among others, and you are welcome to put your hands on all of it. Feeling the difference between a rubber-and-spring pedal and a load cell takes about four seconds in person and is nearly impossible to explain online.
Rentals, parties and corporate events
The showroom is also home base for the rental side of the business. We run simulator activations for trade shows, dealership events, corporate parties and birthdays, from a single rig in a living room to a row of them under a tent at the Speedway. If you are planning something and want to see the equipment before you book it, come look at it in person.
