Do you want to change your brake pedal resistance but have misplaced the elastomers that came with your original Ultimate+ brake pedal? The Heusinkveld Elastomer Kit Ultimate+ is here to replenish your set of elastomers for the Ultimate+ brake pedal and the Classic Sim Pedals Ultimate Upgrade Kit.
These elastomers cannot be used to replace the green-white rubbers of the Classic Sim Pedals Ultimate.
Please note: This kit is not an upgrade. Your Ultimate+ brake pedal is already equipped with our latest injection-molded thermoset brake elastomers. Check if the rubbers/elastomers have markings on the side indicating length and resistance (‘soft’ or ‘hard’) to verify.
Advantages
The key advantages of using these new elastomers compared to the early spec rubbers are:
- More Progressive Brake Feel: Initial force application results in more travel, with the brake pedal feel gradually stiffening.
- Firmer Bump and Rebound Characteristics: Smaller decreases in brake force are required for the pedal to return to its starting position.
- Improved Durability: Extensive testing shows a near-zero failure rate and no performance degradation after 1 million cycles.
Included Parts
The Elastomer Kit for Ultimate+ pedals contains:
- Hard elastomer in 19mm, 28mm, and 37mm
- Soft elastomer in 19mm, 28mm, and 37mm
Reuse the black discs and spacers from your original Ultimate+ brake.
Compatibility
This Elastomer Kit is compatible with:
- Ultimate+ pedals
- Can replace/renew the elastomers of the Classic Sim Pedals Ultimate Upgrade Kit
The Elastomer Kit – Ultimate+ is not compatible with:
- (Classic) Sim Pedals Ultimate: The inner diameter on these elastomers does not match the brake rod diameter on the classic Sim Pedals Ultimate.
- Sim Pedals Pro: This kit is not designed to be compatible with the Sim Pedals Pro.
Shipping and Lead Time
- Free Shipping: Available to all of the Continental U.S. and Canada (excluding Yukon, Northwest Territories & Nunavut).
- Import Duties Covered: For U.S.-based customers.
- Ships from Montreal, Canada: Typical lead time before shipping out orders is 5 to 7 business days, depending on the shipping queue.
- Transit Time: Typically takes between 2 and 4 business days after shipping.
Important Note
Large items, such as our SimRacing Chassis, Monitor Stands, and Racing Seats, might not arrive on the same day as other parts of your order due to their weight and size, which affects sorting at our shipping partner's logistics hub.
Warranty
Heusinkveld provides a 24-month warranty starting from the date of delivery. Repairs and/or replacements do not extend the warranty period. Defects will be remedied free of charge within a reasonable period by repairing or replacing the products/parts in question.
Warranty Coverage Limitations
- Incorrect setup and/or installation
- Non-compliance with (safety) regulations stated in the manual
- Inappropriate use or operation
- External influences, such as transport damage and impact damage
- Repairs and modifications not carried out by Heusinkveld
- Use of non-original parts
Heusinkveld does not warrant that the products are suitable for the purpose for which the Buyer wishes to use them. Under no circumstances are the products suitable for use other than in a simulator.
