Heusinkveld Elastomer Kit for Sim Pedals Sprint
Description
The Heusinkveld Elastomer Kit is an optional upgrade for Sim Pedals Sprint owners who currently use earlier spec brake rubbers. This upgrade kit includes our latest injection-molded thermoset brake elastomers, initially introduced with our Sim Pedals Ultimate+. Enhance your braking experience with a more progressive brake feel and improved durability.
Advantages
The key advantages of using these new elastomers compared to the early spec rubbers are:
- More Progressive Brake Feel: Initial force application results in more travel, with the brake pedal feel gradually stiffening.
- Firmer Bump and Rebound Characteristics: Smaller decreases in brake force are required for the pedal to return to its starting position.
- Improved Durability: Extensive testing shows a near-zero failure rate and no performance degradation after 1 million cycles.
Included Parts
The Sim Pedals Sprint Elastomer Kit contains:
- 1 x 19mm hard elastomer
- 1 x 19mm soft elastomer
- 1 x 28mm soft elastomer
- 1 x 37mm soft elastomer
All elastomers are marked with their length and hardness (soft/hard) on the side. Reuse the black discs and spacers from your original Sim Pedals Sprint brake.
Compatibility
This Elastomer Kit is compatible with all versions of the Sim Pedals Sprint and the Sim Pedals Sprint – Team Redline Edition.
Before purchasing, please check if you already have the new spec elastomers. If your rubbers/elastomers are marked with length and resistance, you already have the new specification installed. If there are no markings, you have the earlier spec rubbers.
The Elastomer Kit is not compatible with the following products:
- (Classic) Sim Pedals Ultimate: The inner diameter does not match the brake rod diameter, and the kit does not include the required black discs and spacers. For upgrades, see the Sim Pedals Ultimate Upgrade Kit.
- Sim Pedals Pro: Not designed to be compatible. Required hardware is supplied with the Sim Pedals Sprint only.
Shipping and Lead Time
- Free Shipping: Available to all of the Continental U.S. and Canada (excluding Yukon, Northwest Territories & Nunavut).
- Import Duties Covered: For U.S.-based customers.
- Ships from Montreal, Canada: Typical lead time before shipping out orders is 5 to 7 business days, depending on the shipping queue.
- Transit Time: Typically takes between 2 and 4 business days after shipping.
Important Note
Large items, such as our SimRacing Chassis, Monitor Stands, and Racing Seats, might not arrive on the same day as other parts of your order due to their weight and size, which affects sorting at our shipping partner's logistics hub.
Warranty
Heusinkveld provides a 24-month warranty starting from the date of delivery. Repairs and/or replacements do not extend the warranty period. Defects will be remedied free of charge within a reasonable period by repairing or replacing the products/parts in question.
Warranty Coverage Limitations
- Incorrect setup and/or installation
- Non-compliance with (safety) regulations stated in the manual
- Inappropriate use or operation
- External influences, such as transport damage and impact damage
- Repairs and modifications not carried out by Heusinkveld
- Use of non-original parts
